I do not recommend Encompass Pools and Hardscapes. The project had several months of delays, multiple failed inspections, and poor supervision. The pool shell and retaining wall were installed several inches out of square, the lights were not installed in the promised locations, and the coping and concrete deck have dips over 1 inch causing standing water. When I raised concerns, I was told, “we know what we are doing — let us do our job.”
The owners are strong salespeople but their skills as general contractors are lacking. I hired an engineer and survey company and consulted multiple independent concrete companies, all confirming the defects are obvious and may not meet industry standards. I asked Encompass what standards they were using and have not received an answer.
There is also property damage and unresolved corrective items, with thousands in damage or already spent out of pocket. After withholding payment for documented corrective repairs, the company passed the matter to their attorney instead of fixing the workmanship issues.
On a positive note, their new retaining wall crew is top-notch. I wish they could have started on our project instead of coming in midway, as their workmanship seems excellent.
I am willing to share photos and any documentation with anyone considering this company. If you want quality, honesty, and proper supervision, look elsewhere.

If you are in the market for an inground pool, I recommend Encompass Pools. This review has been a long time coming as I have been too busy enjoying our new pool. Neal, Israel, and their team were very informative and communicative from the get go. They were always available to answer any questions or help with any issues we might have. For instance when starting the pool up for the first time our salt chlorinator had a leak in the housing through no fault of their’s. But they ordered a new one and replaced it all within the same week. We didn’t have to wait days like some people do. Also we decided to add a heater/chiller at the last minute. That was also delivered and installed in record time. I love it. We swam during the hot days and now we swim during the colder days. The only regret I have is that we didn’t get a pool sooner. It is not just a pool. It’s where summer birthdays, late-night laughs, and first swims with our first grandchild have become priceless memories!!

Worked with Encompass to have a new fence installed… from giving us a quote to finishing the project. They were great to work with. They started the project on time and finished early. The guys onsite were thorough and efficient. Would definitely recommend them for a project!!

Highly recommend Encompass Pools if your in the market for a new pool! Our project had numerous obstacles to overcome and was definitely not in an easy area to access! These guys took it all in stride and were able to take our backyard from an unusable space to a space we never want to leave! Customer service is top notch and they never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question or being a bother. 10/10 Would highly recommend!
